Education

Award-winning Education

Our students have been awarded Cambridge Learner’s awards for their exceptional learning. We have shown that project-based and real-life education leads to deeper learning that is retained and can be applied.  Create Schools is one of the few international schools around Munich that has small classes where students are not just a number. We pride ourselves on the relationships that we build with our students, which leads to motivated learners.

The learning journey at Create Schools starts at grade 1 in primary years (Foundation School) all the way up to College where students obtain internationally recognised A-Levels, allowing them to enter Universities all around the world.

Foundation School

In our Foundation School students are given their “learning foundation”. This is not limited to purely acquiring knowledge and facts, but includes the capability to organize, reflect and feeling self-confident, abilities crucial for their future learning development.

  • Grades 1-4 (combined classes: 1./2. and 3./4. grade)
  • Based on the Bavarian school curriculum, however enhanced with a more modern, global outlook, bilingual-lessons are being taught in English or German rotating on a weekly basis. This way we are able to assure concepts are understood and vocabulary skills in both languages are solid
  • Information- and communication technology is incorporated into the curriculum, starting in first grade
  • Class size is approx. 12 students
  • Classes from 10 am to 4 pm

High School

High School is preparing students for the IGCSE exams, the internationally acknowledged equivalent to the German ‘Mittlerer Schulabschluss’, recognized also in Germany. After that students may visit our ‘College’ in order to prepare for their A-Levels, granting worldwide admission to universities.

  • Grades 5-9
  • Based on the Bavarian school curriculum, supplemented with elements of other international curricula such as CIE, NAACE
  • The curriculum is predominantly being taught using Project Based Learning (PBL)
  • All classes are taught in English or German
  • At the end of High School, students complete the IGCSE exams, the internationally acknowledged equivalent to the German ‘Mittlerer Schulabschluss’
  • Classes are from 10 am to 4 pm, additional English lessons are offered from 8:45 am

College

Starting College our students have a clear understanding how to apply and enrich their knowledge as well as being able to critically analyze and question facts. The College years serve as preparation for the A-Levels including the realization of the Duke of Edinburgh Award at either Silver or Gold level.

  • College prepares students for the A-Levels; internationally acknowledged exams that enable students to enter Universities in Germany and around the world.
  • Our college structure is similar to a university, giving students the opportunity to choose subjects according to their desired degree.
  • The A levels that we currently offer are; Art & Design, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, German, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology,  and Sociology
  • Our A level students have achieved awards due to the small classes and individual attention that each student receives.

Qualifications

We want to guarantee a wide array of possibilities for our students at home and abroad. The qualifications we offer reflect this. We are a recognised Cambridge CIE School. Cambridge CIE offers qualifications which are accepted world-wide.

  • Students will sit for their IGCSE at the end of High School

TESTIMONIALS FROM OUR STUDENTS

Hey, my name is Fabian Honhaiser.

I’m 21 years old now, and in my head still am a proud part of the Create Schools community. Create Schools is a place that inspires and promotes talented people to unfold and presume their true passion and dreams. CS taught me the beauty and power of self-awareness. Today, I live in Portugal with my beautiful wife and daughter, following my life dream thanks to Create Schools.

„Create Schools shows that there is a way to educate so that the love for learning is ignited in each and every child.”
