OUR BEGINNINGS
At The Model
United Nations
The Model United Nations (MUN) program at CreateSchools was initiated by Ms. Beth Jenkins, a teacher of History and Sociology, to provide students with an immersive experience in international diplomacy. Recognizing the importance of understanding global relations, she encouraged dedicated students to participate in this challenging endeavor. MUN offers numerous benefits to students, including the development of public speaking skills, critical thinking, and a broadened worldview. Participants take on the role of ambassadors, researching their assigned country’s stance on various global issues, preparing position papers, and engaging in debates.
Building Skills and Confidence
OUR students learn to analyze complex political matters, present their ideas confidently, and collaborate with peers from diverse cultures. These experiences help them enhance their leadership and communication skills, foster empathy, and build cross-cultural understanding, preparing them for future roles in diplomacy and global leadership.

Success at MUN
Last year, CreateSchools proudly sent its first Model United Nations delegation to the prestigious Yale MUN Europe summit in Brussels. Our students represented Canada, Kenya, India, Ukraine in the Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural Committee (SOCHUM), and the Netherlands in the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC). Collaborating with peers from around the world, our delegates worked to draft impactful resolutions on pressing global issues. A special congratulations goes to Lua Belenguer, who earned the Outstanding Delegate Award for her exceptional contributions! We’re incredibly proud of our students’ achievements and look forward to more success in the future. Congratulations on your work well done!
